What is the London Luton Airport drop off charge?
London Luton Airport made some changes to their drop off options, with the implementation of their new Express Drop Off .
The Luton Express Drop Off aims to provide a quicker, easier and smoother way in which PCO drivers can drop off passengers at the terminal entrance.
The charges:
- £7.00 for ten minutes
- £1.00 for every additional minute up to a maximum of 30 minutes
Please note that during peak times the Luton Express Drop Off may be restricted.
How to pay the London Luton Drop Off charge?
The Luton Express Drop Off can only be paid online using this link.
Using the above link you can:
- Pay for each past visit you have made in the Express Drop Off Zone (As long as it is by midnight the day after you have used it)
- Register an account: By adding your card and vehicle details to your account, this will automatically pay for every visit into the Express Drop Off zone.
- Review the Terms and Conditions, and privacy notice.
If you exceed the time limit of 30 minutes at the Express Drop Off zone, drivers will be given a £95 enforcement charge.
This can be reduced to £55 if it is paid within 14 days.
Are there any alternative free drop off options at Luton Airport?
Free drop off at the Long Stay Car Park
- The Long Stay Car Park option is free for up to two hours, giving drivers more time to drop passengers off if they need it. This is located 10 minutes away from the terminal by bus or car.
Please note that opting for these free alternative drop off options may inconvenience passengers, as they may be required to walk further or take another form of transportation, like a shuttle bus, to the terminal entrance.
